Inside Lexmatch
How the Deep Match Process Works
The search, scene by scene.

People ask me how Lexmatch actually decides who goes on a shortlist. It's a fair question. If we're asking you to trust a recommendation, you should know how it's made.
Here's how it works, and why we built it this way.
It starts with your story.
You describe what happened, however it comes out. Then Lexmatch asks the follow-up questions a seasoned litigator would ask at intake. Not just what happened, but how you want it handled: how hard you want to fight, how quickly you need it resolved, which language you'd rather work in. Two people with the same injury can need very different lawyers.
Then we search everyone.
Not just the lawyers who rank on Google or buy ads. Every licensed lawyer in the states where we operate is a candidate, measured against your matter, drawing on court records and published decisions, bar admission and discipline records, peer reviews, legal awards and rankings, and specialized sources most searches never reach.
We match on the matter, not the practice area.
"Personal injury" is too broad to be useful. We look at the kind of case, the court, the stakes, who is on the other side, and how the lawyer's actual record lines up with all of it.
A good match isn't the most famous lawyer. It's the one built for your kind of case.
Then a lawyer looks at it.
An algorithm is good at narrowing a field. But deciding who should handle someone's case is a call I want a lawyer making. Before any list reaches you, a Lexmatch attorney has gone through it.
You get three to five names, with reasons.
Not one name, because you should have a real choice. Not twenty, because a list that long just hands the work back to you. Next to every name, you'll see in plain terms what earned it a place.
The decision stays with you.
We make recommendations and explain them. You make the call. And a place on the list is never for sale.
Your lawyer starts informed.
By the time you first sit down together, the lawyer you chose already knows your matter, so you don't spend the first hour repeating yourself.
We stay after the handoff.
With Lexmatch Elite, one of our attorneys stays involved through the engagement. And if the lawyer you hired stops answering, we don't shrug. We get involved.
